About Lorraine
I am a dressage rider from the Grand Rapids area.
I grew up as a hunter/pleasure rider with a focus in natural horsemanship and R+ (positive reinforcement, clicker training).
At sixteen, I began riding dressage and have been fortunate enough to work with several incredible trainers including Kelly Day of Kensington Farms, Olivia Knight Dressage, and Albert Gesrich. I have had the opportunity to ride in clinics with Carolyn Bland as well as Silke Rembacz.
I have produced my own gaited Curly horse as a successful classical dressage partner. We have successfully competed through first-level with the hopes of obtaining my first and second-level scores toward my USDF bronze medal together.
My goal for all equestrians is to learn how to effectively communicate with their equine partners and enjoy themselves with their horses. I take a very unique approach to each horse and rider team since everyone and every horse are a unique individual.
